Definitions:
- Registrant: the entity who successfully registered a domain (example: an individual, or a company registering a domain name)
- Registrar: the entity handling the registration process on behalf of the Registrant. Internet.bs Corp. is an official Registrar providing registration services to Registrants.
- Registry: the official entity holding and managing the database where domain names are registered. EURid is the .eu registry. The Registry is not allowed to accept registrations from Registrants, only Registrars are authorized to register domains with the Registry on behalf of their customers, i.e. Registrants.
